Louis Geys | President and CEO
As a developer and art-gallery owner in Belgium, Louis Geys felt his future in land development would be found in Florida. When the opportunity presented itself, he brought his family to Orlando and founded Wescar in 1981. For the past 27 years, he has continued to invest and develop land throughout the Central Florida area. Some of his communities include, Mount Dora’s first gated lakefront community, Loch Leven, Lake Olympia Club in Ocoee and Caroline Estates in Orlando, named after his daughter. He also purchased the last ten remaining lots in the luxury golf community of Alaqua, becoming the developer. Before purchasing a property, Louis spends many hours conducting feasibility calculations, and performing due diligence. In addition to Wescar, he is also the president and founder of Wescar Realty Inc; a full-service brokerage company that sells and markets Wescar's communities. His purchase of the newly named Wescar Building has provided the company with a corporate headquarters located in Heathrow, Florida. Louis is an avid tennis player, art collector and a member of the Urban Land Institute.

Wesley Geys | Vice President
Wesley Geys has been with Wescar Inc. since 2001. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Florida State University. Wesley is responsible for all the sales management and implementation of marketing campaigns for Wescar’s single family communities, multifamily development and commercial parcels owned by Wescar. In addition to sales, Wesley is also the leasing agent for The Wescar Building in Heathrow, Florida. He is a member of Florida Association of Realtors as well as a former Honoree of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He and his wife Lisa, enjoy the outdoors by wakeboarding, boating, and running.

Joe Morin | Licensed Real Estate Broker | Wescar Realty Inc.
Joe Morin has been with Wescar Realty Inc. since 1999 and has directed all sales acitivities for Loch Leven. /p>

Cyrille Decabooter | Property Services Manager
Cyrille has been with Wescar since 2006 and is responsible for all Wescar's property management.

Cyd Penny | Realtor | Human Resources Manager
Cyd Penny has been with Wescar since January of 2003. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Florida International University, with a BS in Mass Communication and Journalism. Voted by FIU faculty as “2002 Student of the Year,” she is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Tau Alpha. Cyd has an extensive background of management experience, having worked for eight years as Director of Operations for Safari Ltd., a Miami-based international manufacturing company. There, she was responsible for the day-to-day functioning of Customer Service, IT, Shipping and Inventory Management. Additionally, she held various management positions at Windjammer Barefoot Cruises and Freightliner Corporation, a subsidiary of Daimler-Benz of North America. Following a life-long desire, she briefly changed careers and became a journalist, reporting for the Miami Herald as well as feature writing for the Palm Beach and Naples Times, South Florida Gourmet and Not Popular Magazine. Her people-skills have contributed to her positive work in Lake County as a member of the Mount Dora Northeast Community Redevelopment Agency and an advisor on the Mount Dora Grant Review Committee. She is a notary public, and a licensed Realtor.

Shelly Mohan | Finance Manager
Shelly Mohan joined Wescar in October of 2006. She has over 20 years experience in the demanding New York City environment, working for Manhattan law firms Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler; Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and Richards & O’Neil. Shelly, as Accounting Manager, supervised staffs of up to 24 employees while overseeing day-to-day operations of the financial side of these firms. One of her most challenging situations came about via a computer technician’s error, which resulted in a years worth of lost financial data. Shelly held a major role in the reconstructing effort that had the books back on-line in a timely fashion. She graduated from Queens College in New York with a bachelors degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing her MBA in Finance from Baker College and preparing for the Becker CPA Review. Shelly is an accomplished and thorough student and loves the personal achievement of balancing her professional career and being a dedicated mom.

Carrie Sellars | Executive Assistant
Carrie is our newest team member at Wescar. Carrie joined the team in March 2008. (More to come)
